Bovine Tallow

Bovine Tallow is a source of lipids that has a wide applicability, which is usedas an ingredient in the animal feed industry, detergents and soaps, cosmetics and recently in the biofuel segment. The glycerin extracted from sebum turned into first – rate cosmetics. The oleic, stearic and fatty acids, also derived from sebum, are used in the PVC industry, asphalt emulsifier, fabric softener and solvents. Bi-distilled glycerin or glycerol is used in the food industry to produce chocolates, ice creams and biscuits.

The feedstock used to produce Bovine Tallow is collected for inspected slaughterhouses and butchers according to the Ministry of Agriculture and processed in our industrial plant. The manufacturing process is based on the cooking of these by-products, as well as a special treatment, in which impurities and moisture are removed, to reach a product of excellent quality.

The product is free of salmonella and other pathogenic agents due to the temperature used in the manufacture process.
